We’re always exploring new ways to push the boundaries of coffee flavor and processing. That’s why we’re thrilled to release a limited-edition nitro-washed coffee from Colombia, sourced from one of the only farms in the world using this proprietary method.

This farm has spent years perfecting its nitro wash technique, and the result is a coffee unlike anything we’ve tasted before. It’s bold yet refined, offering lush fruit notes, a perfect amount of acidity, and a remarkably smooth, clean finish. It has notes of honeydew, blueberry, and lychee. Nitrogen-washed coffee offers a unique tasting experience that stands out from traditional processing methods.

It delivers the vibrant and fruity characters often found in natural or anaerobic coffees, but with an unusually clean, crisp finish that resembles a classic washed profile. The use of nitrogen during fermentation minimizes unwanted oxidation and funky fermented taste, allowing the natural sweetness and acidity of the bean to shine with remarkable clarity. Unlike naturally processed coffees, which can sometimes taste heavy or overly fermented, nitrogen-washed coffees are bright, balanced, and refined, offering layered fruit flavors without sacrificing structure or cleanliness.

The result is a cup that feels both experimental and polished, with a level of control and precision that’s hard to achieve through other methods. Due to the complexity and care required in producing nitro-washed coffee, only a limited amount is available each year. Our Colombian release is extremely limited, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.
